这一季的加州葡萄酒系列推广活动---“品味阳光，加州餐酒”，给沪上的秋天增加了醇厚红酒的浪漫气息。

加州餐酒协会协同79个加州葡萄酒品牌，于10月21日在上海JW万豪大酒店举行了新闻发布会及贸易品尝会。

美国加州餐酒协会总部在加州的旧金山,是一个拥有850个加州酒商的非盈利的私人贸易组织。它的国际部门的目标是提高加州酒的出口量、增加加州酒的知名度以及引起世界对加州酒的兴趣。

在新闻发布会上，旧金山加州餐酒协会的出口项目部总监Eric F. Pope介绍道，从1986年到现在，加州葡萄酒出口量呈大幅度上升趋势，加州葡萄酒的国际需求量继续飙升。2007年Wine Spectator的前一百名酒中，美国占据第一位。

由于日照充足，气候适宜，美国加利福尼亚州的葡萄酒一向很有名。全美90％的葡萄酒产自加州，美国最大的20家酒厂中，也有18家落户于此。许多酒商酿出的葡萄酒已经让昔日欧洲酿酒商们独享的光环黯然失色。

虽然加州葡萄酒只是在近30年来才开始闻名全国，誉满全球，但是其历史则长达200多年。加州的酿酒传统可追溯到17世纪末，西班牙传教士把墨西哥的酿酒工艺带到了加州。250年传统酿酒工艺和经验，现代不断创新和改进，辅以理想的种植酿酒葡萄的气候，这一切造就了加州地区的独特葡萄酒产区。

从独一无二的葡萄酒到每天在超市可以买到的葡萄酒，每一瓶葡萄酒都体现了加州葡萄酒的品质。
