Montrose China Barossa Valley Estate Wine Dinner
Date : June 24, 2006 - Saturday
Time : 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Venue : Alameda Restaurant , beijing
Come join us on Saturday June 24th,at Alameda Restaurant for an evening of great food and wines from Australia’s Barossa Valley Estate. Presenting the wines and helping to host this event is Stuart Bourne, the Chief Winemaker from Barossa Valley.
Barossa Valley Estate was established in 1985 by a group of Barossa Valley growers who saw an opportunity to add value to their harvest. The grape growers and the winemaker have a very close relationship and the synergy developed is evident in the depth of the wine. The E&E Black Pepper Shiraz is quintessential Barossa Shiraz - powerful and intense with rich fruit and firm tannins. Endorsement from two of the world’s leading wine commentators has given winemaker, Stuart Bourne, plenty to smile about, with both the 2005 Langton’s Classification and the influential USA magazine, Wine Spectator both praising BVE’s Wines. E&E Black Pepper Shiraz 2002 scored a 97 point score, which is the eighth consecutive year the wine has received over 90 points.
Matching the wonderful wines will be the delightful creations of Alameda, the 2006 Restaurant of the Year, by That’s Beijing Magazine. Please RSVP now to reserve your place at what sure will be a fun evening of wine and food.
