南澳洲Barossa Valley权威酒庄于日前在香港举办2011Rare & Distinguished Barossa Wine Auction试酒会，香港葡萄酒愛好者在著名酿酒师Brian Walsh带引下，率先品尝将于4月29日拍卖的南澳美酒。8款品尝名酿皆来自拍卖会‘True Collector’收藏家系列，包括 1996 Penfolds Grange、2006 Torbreck RunRig、2006 Henshke Hill of Grace 等。

      此拍卖于1965年由Peter Lehmann创办，为每两年一度Barossa Vintage Festival (Barossa 葡萄酒节)的高潮，大部份葡萄酒都是酿酒师捐赠，所有收益全拨归非牟利的Barossa Vintage Festival，以效益 Barossa 社区。

      今届 2011 Rare & Distinguished Barossa Wine Auction 拍卖会共有 133 批来自星级酒庄如Chris Ringland、John Duval、Elderon、Kaesler、Kalleske、Peter Lehmann 及 The Yalumba Wine Company 的经典名酒，其中包括 Jeroboam (4.5公升)及 Imperial (6公升)大樽瓶限量版、博物館、Verticals、收藏家系列等。

      拍卖会的名酒在市场罕有，所有葡萄酒都是直接来自酒庄，不经第三者，货源有保证，所以屡创高价，2009年推出的2004 Penfolds Grange Imperial (6公升)就以澳币三万元成交。香港是当今全球优质葡萄酒的拍卖中心，预计2011 Rare & Distinguish Barossa Wine Auction将会吸引很多香港收藏家。

       拍卖会将于4月29日在Barossa Penfold’s Red Barrel Cellar举行。海外投标者可登记为缺席投标人或与Oddbins Wine Auctions安排电话投标。
